"Well it looks like they're doing some renovating so the rooms are a little thrashed and old the swimming pool was the worst when I jumped in the pool I saw what I thought was green ribbon but it was green algae! And then I ordered a wedge salad and the tomatoes were very mushy and then they don't tell you that breakfast is not free they say that there is a breakfast but they charge you $8 not a big fee but when you're expecting free continental breakfast and you know. I would actually like a rebate for the swimming pool grossness alone. And my air conditioner didn't work very well."

"I was looking forward to my one-night stay at the Oxford but was very disappointed. The pictures on the site including Expedia do not adequately represent the property. In the pics, it looked fresh and clean. Reality is the flooring, door jams, elevators are old and not clean. The room was not fresh with old furnishings. I was not comfortable staying, fearing there were unseen insects in the room. The staff were helpful but were on their mobile phones, less than a professional appearance."

"This was a one-night stopover in a longer road trip. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was. Grounds are absolutely beautiful. The restaurant next door is a big bonus. However, I wish there were more vegetarian options."

"Unfortunately this motel is right next to the highway and therefore there were many, many bugs (beetles, cockroaches, flies) both inside and outside of our room, and on the bed. Although the staff were super helpful, we looked at the various seams in the wall (inside of our room) and saw bugs coming in and out of them. So, this stay is not for the faint of heart. Also at 9:30 AM there was no “breakfast” to speak of, just a single takeout box of donuts on the counter."

"My room was clean but there were one or two cobwebs and a few leaves on the ground that made me think that it was cleaned a week before I stayed and not checked before I got there. But it was super cheap to stay so I can’t complain too much."
