"To start with, no check in information was sent to me before I arrived. When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. "Luxury room with two double beds. Beds very firm to sleep on. Tea and coffee facilities with large TV. Staff were amazing and breakfast had a huge variety of items. Shower was a little slow and water went down very slowly but beautiful bathroom very modern. Room was large. Bar was ok but only three cocktails and didn't have the ingredients for only one of f them. Would visit again"

"Though a rambling hotel covering many buildings and floors and it being in one of the heat waves so the rooms on the top floor were very hot, the stay was very good due to the friendly staff and excellent food on offer both for breakfast but particularly in the evening. This is my third stay at this hotel and is the go to one for me when working in Leicester. Cannot but highly recommend it for staying at."
