"This hotel was about 13 km from the train station in Ravenna. We booked it because it was relatively close to the cruise ship terminal and we had heard that taxis were sparse in Ravenna (it's true). The hotel booked us into a shuttle that stops at hotels and takes passengers to the cruise ship termainal! The hotel reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was comfortable. We stayed there 2 nights - and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which was included in the hotel price. The hotel also offers a dinner which we enjoyed one night. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the beach."

"Hotel Oceanomare was an absolute delight to stay at! The service that I received at check in was friendly, informative and professional. The room was spacious and had a balcony which had a gorgeous view of the town. The hotel was close to the town square which were lined with shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the a/c was cold and the breakfast the next day was delicious. I was headed to a cruise in the morning and the staff was kind enough to contact a cab for me. I highly recommend staying at this charming hotel."

"We just stayed one night before our cruise departing from the port of Ravenna. We arrived by train on a hot saturday afternoon, departing on sunday afternoon. The hotel is very close to the train station. Staff at the front desk were amazingly helpful, telling us how to get to a restaurant while avoiding the hot sun, and arranging transportation for us from the hotel to the cruise port - a big deal because there is no available public transit, few taxis, and no transportation provided by the cruise line. They had to make a significant effort to find a way to get us to the port, and we really appreciate that they took the time and made the effort to ensure we'd get to the port on time. Good continental breakfast provided with helpful staff for breakfast too. Overall a wonderful experience that met all our needs."
