"My second visit here was just as brilliant as the first visit, a different room this time but just as nice, with excellent views over the sea and harbour. A friendly welcome on my arrival and a spotless, very spacious room. The whole property looks like it’s been fully renovated recently and their attention to detail is excellent, nice fluffy towels, quality bedding, really nice decor all make the room feel very comfortable and enjoyable. I’ll be back again when I’m next in the area."

"Quand on arrive et on voit de l'exterieur, on se demande si on a bien fait de réserver là, mais dès qu'on entre, ces inquiétudes s'estompent. L'intérieur est est chaleureux et le personnel très gentil. Le resto est très bon, cependant, il est agaçant de devoir choisir la veille si on déjeune et ce que l'on vuet déjeuner (le matin même on n'avait as du tout le même appétit)."

"Absolutely perfect B&B for what we needed beautifully modern inside but cleverly decorates with just enough local Scottish seaside flavour. The room was small but the clever way it was put together made it feel cozy rather than cramped. The bathroom was modern and beautifully appointed and immaculately clean (very important on a 2 week road trip around the UK) There is a well equipped CoOp very close and the Killmarnock Arms hotel is a very short walk away. Excellent food (bring your appetite the servings are huge), lovely staff and a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It is a perfect spot to base yourself if you want a small seaside village feel because it is only a relatively short drive to Banff and other picturesque seaside historic villages like Cullen, If it is sunny, (the stunning village location for the 1983 classic 'Local Hero' (still an enormously enjoyable movie that gets 99% on Rotten Tomatoes even today) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennan is a must see via a winding drive on a classic narrow country road through absolutely beautiful countryside! Pennan will stun you as it is a strip of colourful historic cottages, tucked up against a towering cliff face, a stunning bay and at the end of the breakwater a charming coffee 'hut' with a delightful owner to chat to in season. We enjoyed this B&B so much we extended our stay. Breakfast is continental style and self serve but we are not really breakfast people so that didn't bother us. Beautiful!!!"
