Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus.

Two night stay

Was a bit confusing getting to the location at first but we found our way. The size was perfect for our stay. Didn’t need anything big. The floor boards between the rooms was noisy so it was hard getting to the restroom quietly and not waking anyone. It was quiet, except when students came but that was when we were about to leave for the day. Shower was spacious and clean and hot. We really appreciated the tea and breakfast option.

Nice location with beautiful surroundings. Have a automat with drinks and snacks all day on the premisses, but no stores or close busstops. Recommend having own or rental car to stay here. Otherwise its not too expensive to taxi to ashbourne and bus from there.

Ok but not great.

Was ok just apart from feeling rushed out of apt next day as if the cleaner needed to come in instantly and made for awkward situation when we weren't packed up yet. Not sure was worth the price overall tbh.

Disappointing overpriced, avoid.

Booked to stay for 2 nights. We were told via phone call we were staying at apartment no 5 and provided with the code to receive our key from the keypad safe outside the door. On arrival the keypad was opened and we could see through the window someone in the apartment. On querying this with reception we were told it was probably the cleaners son in watching TV! (It was the cleaners son) Our "apartment" was nothing more than a glorified bedsit with very poor natural lighting and ventilation so there was an evident musty smell. Very sparse cutlery left with only 3 of each knife,fork and spoons. I appreciate the booking was for 3 people but seriously! Food waste bin had no cover/lid which was pretty disgusting considering beds were in the same space as cooking area, extractor fan in ensuite didnt work, serious fly problem not helped by having uncovered waste bins in living/sleeping space. Very overpriced for what it actually is. We were asked if we were going out for the day to leave the key in the keypad safe. Needless to say we didnt leave the key on going out, God only knows who we would find there on return if the cleaners son watches TV in "apartments" which are clean and ready for guests. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and wont be staying again, couldn't wait to get up and go home on our last day. Overpriced bedsit.

Lovely quiet apartments, v clean, a stones throw from tayto park, we brought the kids down for the weekend, were unaware but delighted to discover that on site there is a huge soft play centre / petting farm which the kids really enjoyed. Family friendly property!

Ideal accommodation for Tattersals

Very clean. Well equipped. Like the fact that milk, tea, sugar, coffee and some juice was provided on arrival. Great location for getting to Tattersals which was the purpose of our trip. Stayed for four nights towels replaced and cleaned midway through stay. Near to the local amenities and a lovely restaurant Snailbox.
