"This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. "It’s an old building that needs a little tlc. Bar is exceptional, as were the bar staff. The ceiling in my bedroom leaked a little when I rained however, and the shower needs repairing and resealing. Some of the carpets have seen better days. Overall I feel like the actual room wasn’t as nice as the photos. A mini fridge would go a long way, as would a proper coffee set up instead of putting it in the wardrobe"

"If you need good Internet avoid this hotel. Its the worst Internet I've experienced in a "1st world" hotel. Been here 4 times over 3 months for work and it's been absolutely abysmal. Their connectivity fluctuates wildy and constantly drops. Speed is non existent. I've had to use mobile data for 3 out of 4 trips. Truly pathetic. Complaints to management is pointless. They do nothing. The main plus about this place is the gym. And the restaurant is good. Internet absolute muck!!!"

"Really really impressed by this hotel. The staff were the shinning light form check in, evening meal in the restaurant to the breakfast then check out staff. they were all a pleasure to interact with and a credit to the hotel. The room was large, clean, and well equipped. staying there was a genuine pleasure and i would recommend to any travellers"
