"We had a lovely 4 nights stay at this perfectly located & charming family-run hotel. Everyone we dealt with from the front desk to breakfast room & housekeeping staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was very good with a variety of breads, cereals, yogurts, cheeses & meats. There are several very good restaurants for lunch &/dinner close-by, & the front desk can provide recommendations. We had a room with a partial sea-view, which we enjoyed especially towards sunset when we could sit out on the small balcony. Facilities: a 4/5 as there’s no Gym or Pool. Hotel Vesuvio Rapallo is a terrific small hotel with good rooms, a very good breakfast option & a welcoming staff 👍👍."
Hotel Italia e Lido Rapallo

"Really enjoyed my 5 day stay. The hotel is at one end of the Lungomare, so offers access to all of that, combined with way more tranquillity than is available in some parts of town, but also access to interesting buildings, parks and more cafes etc on the other side. My room was on the top floor and, unusually for a single room, offered superb views of the town, the marina and out to sea, with a balcony which did not go to waste. Breakfast was excellent. I can't say enough about the quality of the reception staff: welcoming and super helpful. Invidious to pick out one person - ok, Laila - because they were all high quality and seemed to work well as a team. (Terrific spot for Ezra Pound fans - as well as being able to see his apartment on the lungomare, it seems EP used to know the proprietors and frequented the hotel, and there are classic photographs of him dining there with Dorothy.)"

"What a perfect find ... A absolutely perfect location ... Beautiful view right across the street from the sea and as well directly across the street literally from the ferry which takes you to the highly over rated Portofino (the ferry ride there was much better then the a tual destination!) 10 euros for a coke / 25 euro salad etc shockingly over priced and over rated destination.... Skip Portofino and go to Genoa a true JEWEL ! PS breakfast at hotel just perfect !"

"This is a nice affordable hotel to use as a home base to go see Portofino. Its 2 min from the train station so no need for a taxi and the ferry to Portofino is maybe 2 min from the hotel on the beach. The room was clean has a good AC system mini fridge nice soaps, everything you need. It was also pretty big for Italy standards. The staff cleans the room several times a day. The hotel has a pretty nice free breakfast that's included with you stay."

Casa Tolly Rapallo

"It is perfectly situated in Rapallo convenient to train station and the town. To enjoy all the bustle and then escape to the quiet. Also only a single half staircase in the foyer to navigate with luggage. Easily done.The apartment is very clean and has everything one would need. The washer and clothesline for drying was much appreciated.Unfotunately the internet was down for most of our stay. Which was over a weekend so not easy to get service. One thing we were surpised by was no extra toilet paper roll. Might have been an oversight. Overall would stay there again if in Rapallo."
