"Liked the property and location. Check in easy, thank you. The room was very small, mostly the bunk bed. Not a problem in itself but it could be helpful to have a smaller chest to give a bit more room to those with two pieces of luggage."

"Would have been helpful to know at the time of booking that needed separate bus ticket to go to the location. Fortunately the property reached out so we knew this ahead of our trip. Unfortunately, we didn’t know the accommodation also required you to bring your own sleeping bag. Luckily the facility had linen to “rent” but of course with everything in Iceland it came with a hefty price."

"It was a lovely place to stay during our trip to the South Coast. It was a little surprising to check in over the phone in the lobby when we arrived, but the staff was very friendly and it was an easy process. Our room was perfect for our family of 3. The sofa bed was comfortable for our adult daughter and the bed was comfortable for us. Breakfast was offered at an extra charge and was very good - waffles, fruit, meat and cheeses, etc. We are glad to have stayed there."

"The tents were comfortable, clean, and warm. The overall property was good, the bathroom was fine and clean, the general areas were clean, the grass was well maintained, but the showers were not so great. I found the shower area dirty. It was at the very end of the day so maybe I just caught it at a bad time, but that would be my only issue. I would go back."

"The location is stunning, and especially wonderful if you are exploring the Iceland southern coast. There is no staff on site. The staff were not especially responsive. We stayed at multiple other hotels that contacted us as our check in approached (a day or two in advance). We had read that the staff at Lambafell were hard to reach, so I messaged the day before, and got no response. And then the morning of our check in, with no response. We finally received a message with check in instructions a few hours before check in. It would be much appreciated if the staff were more responsive to messages. The room was small but clean and charming. The breakfast was solid."

"The breakfast was a mix of food unique to Iceland and also common enough for the picky eater. We loved it! The vibe was so different from American hotels which was also why we loved it so much. This was the classic cozy, peaceful experience we needed :)) I recommend this place! "
