"The only air-conditioning in the room was a portable fan. It was almost impossible to sleep because it got so hot at night, even when the temperature outside dropped significantly. There was no air circulation in the room and no way to cool it down even though I had the fan blasting. The original staff member who checked me in was nice, but the rest were kind of standoffish and not very friendly."

"Basically, the hotel was adequate for the price, however, there were serious safety issues with the electrical outlets. Several were not properly secured to the wall in one case in the bathroom GFI outlet, it was nearly falling off the wall. Also, some electrical appliance plugs we should’ve been three prong, had the grounding plug removed, and were nonetheless plugged into the wall, which represents a safety hazard."

"We enjoyed our stay, the room was immaculate, the adobe walls, the tiled areas and vigas in the room made it feel like home. This was a different type of stay from the "modern" cookie cutter type hotel. I highly recommend this place and room 101. Not sure all the rooms were like this but it was very nice. Live music at the cantina was great as well."

"Hidden gem. Unassuming from the outside but once you pass through the door you see local art and the peaceful, tranquil courtyard with the fire pits, hammocks, pool and hot tub. Bonus it has an amazing view of the mountains and sunrise if you wake up early enough😉☀️"

"We just love staying at the lodge at Angel fire. The hotel and room are always clean with ample space. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and hard working (especially Phillip at the front desk). My boys absolutely love the pool and hot tub. And, not to mention the incredible location in Angel fire. This was our 4th or 5th visit and we have never found anything to complain about. "
