"Overall a great place. This is an older building that has been well maintained. But as a 1970s building it is showing its age and era of architecture. On the flip side, it was much less expensive than most hotels we have stayed at on this trip and as a result there seem to be more locals, which was refreshing. The waterfront beach area is fantastic. Our bathroom light only worked intermittently but no big deal. A nice relaxing small town location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist cities. Breakfasts were good and outdoor seating very pretty."

We would like to express our gratitude and warm appreciation to the hotel staff for their care and assistance—especially Zlatan for helping us resolve issues with our car; the reception team for being so attentive and polite regarding our requests; the housekeeping staff for keeping our room spotless; and the restaurant team—the head chef, waiters, and manager—for the incredibly delicious and varied food (hot dishes, cold options, and salads). The desserts were true works of art—everything was incredibly tasty and wholesome. This was our first time vacationing on the Makarska Riviera; The beach was wonderful, featuring crystal-clear seawater, stunning scenery, and excellent, clean facilities. We wish Hotel Medora continued prosperity and business success. "Phenomenal! Exceeded all expectations on every level. We travel the world and this is definitely one of the Top 10 for us. From being picked up at the port to check in to the baggage handling. The room looked like no one had ever stayed in it. Extremely clean and updated. The bed was so comfortable. Our view was magical. The location is perfect. Very walkable.
