"The room was nice but the access to the pool from the room was an accident waiting to happen. There is about a 4” lip from the room to the balcony that we tripped over 3 times in as many hours. The steps to the pool area from the balcony are spiral which is fine but they are so narrow that you have to walk sideways to avoid falling. At the bottom there is just mulch and no walkway or even a path to the sidewalk. The condition of the pool area wasn’t great. The tile around the pool was dirty and extremely chipped everywhere. The pool itself had a lot of leaves at the bottom and wasn’t very clean. The lounge chairs were old and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Both restaurants are “not affiliated with the hotel” so you can’t charge anything to the room. The chicken walk was very run down although the bartender was nice. When we went to the other restaurant the hostess was very rude and kept asking us if we were there for happy hour. We just wanted to get a drink and have dinner. We were seated with about 15 minutes left of happy hour but the waitress didn't come over until 1 minute after it was over then proceeded to make a show of looking at her watch and saying that happy hour had ended. We chose not to eat there. We wanted a relaxing weekend but after the first few hours decided that we would stay elsewhere even though we already paid. Draw"

"Quick and friendly check in and out. Clean decent room nothing over the top. Loved the balcony leading out to the pool. I don't like paying $29 nightly to park plus resort fee. The pool and surrounding deck/patio are nice. I would have liked it better had there been a jacuzzi. To get ice, had to go to the floor above and halfway down the hall with an undersized ice bucket. Loved being at the pretty Marina. Very close to Key West without the chaos. All and all a nice hotel experience. "

"There were way too few lounge chairs at the pool. My first 2 days, a group of people had put stuff on nearly half the chairs and reserved them for their friends/family were not even in the pool area. They remained empty nearly half the day. Guests should be allowed to monopolize all the lounge chairs if there aren’t enough to go around. I’d recommend replacing some of the tables and chairs by the pool with more loungers. Otherwise, great hotel and extremely accommodating staff. Fabulous drinks and food."
