"very nice old manor house and rooms with high ceilings although rooms were a little dated and bed mattress was past its use by date. Also probably chose the wrong night to stay with a lively wedding going on but I suspect that will be a common experience staying here and probably the hotel is not a best bet for a quiet evening. "

"I went to Leicester to see the Richard III museum, which was excellent. What I saw of the town itself was quite dirty my daughter did not feel safe walking to a restaurant a little distance from our hotel. HOWEVER, the hotel was excellent. Extremely clean, large room, very quiet and quite comfortable. The staff were wonderful."
