We had such a pleasant and warm experience here. The staff was available and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location cannot be beat in the historical center. Mama Lucia cooked the most delicious breakfast and carefully explained the history of the the fruits and items she served. I ve
The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes.
We had a wonderful time at Casa Hotel Las Plazas. We really appreciated how attentive the whole staff (family) were to our needs, including scheduling of transfers. We loved the breakfasts and the explanations of the local foods and fruits.
This hotel was clean, safe, conveniently located to main tourist attractions plenty of shopping and dining options. Staff was amazing receptionist fluent in English included a delicious breakfast the rooms were very clean, incredible staff and beautiful rooftop deck.
We had a very nice stay at Casa Hotel Las Plazas! Lucia and Luis were very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. It was good value for the area and convenient to walk to many sites and restaurants. We would stay here again!
This is a great hotel located in the historic center of Quito. The personnel are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. They assisted us with airport pick-up and drop-off at a reasonable price and organized local sightseeing trips.
We chose this property based on reviews and it did not disappoint. From the beginning of our trip to the very end we received personalized attention and service. The staff are wonderful and extremely accommodating for all needs.
Very accommodating, helpful friendly people. Airport transport was there waiting for us. Beautiful hotel. Nice breakfast of fruit, bread, potatoes (we are vegan and they made it work for us) juice, coffee. Very secure and safe hotel. Great location 3 min walk to sites. Close restaurants. Loved our stay.
We stayed at this hotel twice, before and after our trip to the Galapagos Islands. It is a great place to stay in the historic center of Quito. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. On the day of our arrival, the city center was closed for a sporting event, and they sent personnel to pick us up several blocks from the hotel and help move our belongings.
Staff are friendliest & most caring of any hotel we've ever stayed. Attentive to every detail and helpful from arranging airport transportation to explaining all about the local fruits and fruit juices at breakfast. A family run business that cares that customers are happy. Happy enough to return, as we did.
This Quito stay was exceptional. Luisa, Luis and staff made everything very comfortable and easy during our 3night stay in June. Breakfast was always fresh. Help we with restaurants as well as travel to and from the airport was very easy thru all communication with Casa..... Rooms very comfortable and building extremely secure.
Great and economical hotel near every thing. Great owners and excellent breakfast. They are very helpful and accommodating. The owner prepared for us a breakfast because we had an early tour. The only thing I would have like is a chair in the room. I would definitely recommend the establishment to friends staying in Quito.
Accommodating Staff/Charming Room in Colonial Area
Located a block away from the main plaza in the colonial section of Quito. Clean rooms and very personable and accommodating staff. Breakfast was a delight; a variety of local fruit was utilized and our server showed us examples of the raw fruit and how it was prepared. There are several patios to relax in, including a rooftop with a view if the city.
This is a great boutique hotel with a friendly, caring and helpful staff. They arranged for airport transfer late at night and made helpful recommendations.
It is right in the heart of the historic center and easily walkable to most places.
The breakfast was very good and the staff really wanted to help us learn more about their food and the country.
The property is in a charming old building. It’s a little worn in a few places but very clean.
Great stay in beautiful Quito.
I spent 5 nights at this wonderful boutique hotel Casa hotel Las plazas in March 2024. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. This charming hotel is clean and perfectly situated in the heart of Quito historical district. The breakfast included with the room is delicious and is wonderfully presented by Ms Lucia. The service is outstanding. The personnel is helpful and welcoming, particularly Lucia (Santa!) and Luis!
The Terrasse on the top offers marvellous views of old city. Its situation is perfectly safe and close to famous restaurants and bars like Vista Hermosa. Perfect hotel for visiting Quito.
Highly recommended!

Great location, room was poor
The people that work there are amazing and helpful. Location is perfect and hotel overall was cute. Breakfast is included and it is served by this wonderful woman Lucia. She is so nice and explained all of the food I was going to eat and the cultural significance behind some of the fruit. Before she explained, she asked if I spoke Spanish and I said a little. She spoke to me in Spanish, but she spoke slow and clear and used basic words so I could understand. Amazing!! No one does that. Unfortunately my room was gross. It was an interior room that was very musty when I walked in and the sheets/comforter was stained. There were no windows to air it out and no fan. The towels were also crunchy. I am not a bougie person, but those towels were literally hard and crunchy. The room itself was clean and had enough space. I had a room with 2 twin beds and I used 1 bed for my open suitcase and other items as I normally do. When I came back later in the day, I found all of my items moved off the bed onto a bench in the room. 1 bed was clearly slept in while the other was not. Why would you move my stuff when nothing on the bed needs to be changed or fixed? Most hotels don't change the sheets during your visit, so what were you doing? I have NEVER had that happen before. Nothing was taken or destroyed but I do not like people touching my stuff. When I left, some random creepy guy grabbed my suitcase from me and brought it downstairs for me. Nice, but I do not know who that was.
