Elegant, Comfy, Personal, Exclusive, Historical

The service is personal, well planned and the lodge is very clean. I will remember my stay as one of the highlights of my life. It is very special. There isn’t anything quite like this. It is a multi-faceted diamond in the middle of an already amazing country. Treat yourself to a private spa quality feel. It is 30 minutes from Queensland centered in a beautiful vineyard. The lodge is exclusive, make a reservation as they are often booked in advance. Call 24 hours before check-in to prepare for your stay. The owner is hands on and provides a lovely soft place to land. This is their home so don’t expect to pop-in last minute. It’s not that kind of place,it’s much better. God has provided and blessed us with the honor of a day and a night in this amazing place. May your stay be as lovely as ours. Cheers!

Awesome 'like-home' service in wine country

Mt Rosa Lodge was a perfect 10 out of 10. Ali made us feel very much at home. A short 30 minute drive from Queenstown, Mt. Rosa Lodge is a quaint resort in Gibbston Valley with wonderful service, family charm, and picturesque scenery. We were here for 3 nights in December and it was perfect.

Fabulous B&B overlooking Vineyards

My adult daughter and I stayed at Mt. Rosa Lodge for one night in April and wished that we could have stayed for more. The B&B is located in a beautiful location - sitting on a hill overlooking the vineyards of the valley. Ali, the owner of Mt. Rosa, was a fabulous hostess - charming and helpful while giving us our privacy. Every detail of our stay was perfection. Great breakfast with lots of yummy options and tasty snack in our room upon arrival. A great place to stay.

Home away from home.

Our stay at Mt Rosa Lodge was certainly something special. It was a last minute decision to head to Queenstown and we were not disappointed with our choice of accommodation. Our hosts were very welcoming and offered recommendations of what we should see in the area. The room was very comfortable and had all the extra touches you would expect of a B&B/lodge. I would not hesitate in staying here again.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with amazing hosts

My husband and I stayed at Mt Rosa Lodge for 2 nights during our honeymoon trip and it was without a doubt the highlight of our 3 week trip through Australia and New Zealand. Ali, our hostess, invited us inside her home for a cup of tea and told us about Mt Rosa Lodge and the best places to eat nearby before showing us to our room. Our room was spacious and luxurious with a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyard and mountains. The bathroom was also quite large and modern. Ali offered us a complimentary cheese platter which we enjoyed on our private terrace. During our stay, Ali and her husband Nic gave us the best tips on places to eat and visit during our stay. They have been living in the neighborhood for 13 years and in New Zealand for over 30 years, therefore they know the area very well and we enjoyed each and every one of their recommendations. I would highly recommend staying at Mt Rosa Lodge. We regret not spending more nights there while we were in New Zealand.
