"Stayed here for almost two weeks and couldnโt have picked a better spot. Villa Princi was clean, quiet, and really comfortable. Easy to get around and in a great location for exploring both Calabria and Sicily. I actually spent the first 5 days driving around Sicily.
The host was incredibly helpful. She gave me dining tips, pointed me to legit olive oil spots, and had some nice pastries and even some eggs if requested. Breakfast was perfect for me.

The location is amazing and we had an incredible view from our balcony.
The room was large, comfortable and clean.
The issue is with the service. I messaged multiple times before arriving to ask for help arranging a transfer from the station. I got no response.
There was nobody at the reception when I came to check in (or ever).
The hotel was advertised as having a pool. It does not have a pool.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but the terrible service took the gloss off "

We were very out of our comfort zone.
My mother had just come out of 7 days in an Italian hospital with no English.
The cleaning ladies help us feel very welcome. They are super lovely towards us. Even though there was
a language barrier.
The restaurant staff should be promoted as managers as the waiters and waitresses tried very hard to give good service. Managers at the time needed to be fired."
