"We were unable to honour our original booking due to a Brexit related problem with our dogs at the Channel Tunnel in the UK. I emailed the hotel and received a reply the following day saying that our stay would be honoured for the following night which we were able to accept and subsequently arrived and stayed. No additional charge was requested, only the extra for our dogs to be in the room with us. Well done Ibis Budget Dax"

"The hotel was excelleb=nt as usual especially breakfast. One downside was that the restaurant was closed despite the menu being on a board outside the restaurant. The only brasserie was closed. Luckily we met three wonderful Irish ladies who directed and sheparded us to a "hole in the wall" pizza maschine. The pizza was excellent and we shall certainly be booking this hotel again but checking restaurant is open at reception"

"Staff was very accommodating. Free off street parking was most welcome. Excellent location for toro stadium, football and rugby. Located on the scenic river and across from a top notch southern French restaurant that served us a full, four course meal at 12:00am. The hotel room was set up as a studio with kitchen. "The hotel were great at communication until they went home, arriving after reception hours we couldnt get hold of the out of hours caretaker, called hotels.com to help and eventually had to ask the restaurant to help find him. Once we found him he was great and was a big help. Room was spacious and they had made up the sofa bed for us in advance. The aircon was in the living room and not the large bedroom where it was needed. Good size balcony and kitchen had great facilties. TV didnt work much...
