La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. "Nothing not to like ,apart from the long walk to our room at the end of the corridor! The hotel was lovely ,full of character ,and our meal was excellent . A lovely terrace was a great place to have a nightcap. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly and keen to help "
"Hotel was great, we took room only as wanted to explore the area and eat at lical restaurants, however, the dining facilities at the hotel did look good. The room was a little basic, no tea or coffee making facilities but clean and comfortable, great air con too as the weather was very hot during our stay.
Drinks were well priced although only one draught beer on tap, and there was nightly entertainment aimed for the children. Very close to the beach too. Overall a good stay and worth the cost. "
