"I would not stay here again and would not recommend it. The girl at check in was all attitude, we waited a few minutes after she finished with the folks before us and never got a "welcome" we had to beg to have the hot tub warm finally after a day she turned it on and then she tried to scam us for $41 telling us we damaged the sheets and they couldn't clean them. They had not tried cleaning them when this conversation happened (10 minutes after we checked out). I have since discovered she has gotten my CC from Expedia and charged me $68. The bathroom had only cold water at the sink and the fixtures look like they came out of a gas station bathroom. The tile work needs to be re-done or at least cleaned. there was good water pressure and hot water at shower. While we were there you could not sit by the pool because of the grinding on metal and welding being done to the railing, besides the neighborhood children that took over the pool. BFast was fair but not till 7 am which is problem if you have an early boat trip. San Cristobal is a nice town, stay somewhere better."
"Joshua was very good and helpful. The location is unbelievable in front of the sea. The room was clean (except the toilet that we had to clean it). Another issue was a very noisy water pump that started working around 3am. This and the terrible and basic breakfast were the only two things we recommend to improve. It’s unacceptable that for that price we got a bad coffee, 3 pieces of fruit, very bad white bread, small juice and 2 eggs. We had to had breakfast at another place."
"The staff were very kind and accommodating to us. Just a little off the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to everything we needed. Would recommend!"
"The rooms are outdated and with little comforts (for example, two bedside tables but only one lamp, very small bathroom with nowhere to place a wash bag). It’s also not the cleanest: there were spider nets full of dead insects, the shower curtain had mould, there were small ants everywhere.
But the staff is friendly and helpful; the cooked breakfast is good (with some egg dishes and local cuisine options). It’s also a 10-min easy walk to the airport so no need for taxi.
The sound isolation is poor but we found this to be an issue everywhere. At least this place is in a quiet part of town so the noises will be only from guests, not from the road."
"We loved our stay in the family room. Super clean, great shower. AC worked great.
The owner and son (I believe) were super helpful. A spoke English which was appreciated.
They have a water cooler in the office where you can fill your bottles or get water to cook/make coffee on the small stove.
We walked to the Main Street area in 10 minutes, lots of options for meals, small convenience stores, ATM and tour offices."
"Escaped from Eco friendly and landed here at this excellent hotel. Everything. And everyone was great. Also got an awesome massage at the spa. Really nice hotel."
