"They put us in a room that had the top part of the door missing. You could hear everything and everyone could hear you. The walls had mold on them and the room was extremely dated. The 2nd room had no towels. We asked for them and they said they would bring them which they didn’t. Not worth what we booked this for in Expedia. The gentleman at check-in though did not provide much of a warm welcome. We had just driven from Lima and had an encounter with corrupt cops on the way there, so arrived to the resort a bit shaken up, and the person checking us in went straight into fees and costs without even asking asking us how we were doing, how were our travels etc.. not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. Otherwise everything was great."
