"Everything was great"

"Everything was exceptional. Clean, quiet and friendly! Very tropical almost like staying in a tree house. However it is seaweed season and the ocean was unusable because it was excessive and had an odor. The food was delicious as were the drinks. The area has many high end restaurants with entertainment. However the taxi's were expensive for a very short ride. By the way the hotel does not have televisions but in reality it wasn't missed. The option of showering outside privately in your room was amazing. Overall a lovely hotel."

"I booked the Nomad Temple Tulum hotel but we didn't stay in the Nomad Temple Tulum hotel because upon arrival we were told that hotel was closed because of noise from neighboring construction. While I appreciate that this is an issue they could have told us this beforehand and not surprise us with it on the day of arrival. So we stayed at the partner Be Tulum hotel which is nice but not what I booked. Instead of a Beach View room we did not have a beach view. So instead of settling into the place you have been looking forward to, based on pictures and reviews, you now have a different hotel that the person at reception keeps telling you "is also nice", and you have to weigh your options and level of aggravation that you want to deal with. In the end we had a nice time and Be Tulum is a nice hotel, but springing this on people as they arrive is not the way to do this."
