"Staff was excellent. Restaurant was great food with a great view. I loved the garden alpacas and cuyes. My only real issues that do not affect the rating as they are more general to the city itself are that a lot of tours will not get you if you do not stay in the central area and you probably should not walk outside of the central area unless you want to deal with lots of street dogs. Take a cab, they’re very inexpensive."

"BEautiful hotel on Lake Titicaca in Puno, Peru, with a dock to walk right to the lake. The staff is courteous, the room is clan and with beautiful balcony facing west and a view of sunset. The food options are limited but OK. Breakfast does have some vegetarian items for vegetarians or vegans. I was greeted with a welcome plate of alfajores (Peruvian specialty sweets) left on the table in the room at my arrival. That was nice - alfajores were delicious! Thank you Casa Andina! I had a car and have been given free parking. Gettin to the hotel and the city of Puno is a driving challenge, but with patience and lots of luck one can manage it as I did. I enjoyed in the stay at this hotel."

"great location off of main plaza, rooms were in good condition and lobby and breakfast area very beautiful view Problem with transportation to airport- 3 days of checking to make sure it was set up with company and plenty of time to make hour trip to airport. Time changed to later pickup, then van arrived late, then wandering through congested city streets for other pickups. Ending up leaving city more than an hour late and arriving at airport less than an hour before flight was to leave. Stressful situation, did manage to catch the plane. "

"This hotel is located near the main plaza, yet in a quiet area. Everything was good, but the highlight of our stay was Gabriela at the front desk—she was truly the heart of this hotel. Kind, attentive, and always eager to help, she assisted us with everything we needed. The only downside was the breakfast buffet. Plates and food items were often in short supply—for example, there were cornflakes available, but no bowls or cold milk. Still, overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Gabriela’s kindness and exceptional service more than made up for these shortcomings."
