The bed was very comfortable and the stay satisfactory. The front desk didnt seem very friendly or helpful. The room was clean, but things like the door, drawers, and the AC were obviously worn down and could use maintenance.

Great room horrible staff

Honestly the stay was great the bed a room were perfect…. That it tho The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and charged us extra $12 at check in because we didn’t have the $50 check in fee that this site doesn’t mention So just a heads up THERES AN EXTRA $50 dollar charge at check in

The hotel was perfectly adequate - a good price and convenient location for moving our first-year WSU student into his dorm room.

Close to campus and friendly owners!

It’s not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect that but it’s clean, close to campus, and the owners are friendly. Really all I could ask for when in town for a couple of nights!

If all you need is a clean bed, this is a fine place. Location is great. Lady at the desk was hard to understand and very short with how she spoke. Paper thin walls and windows.

Never stay here!

Do not stay here! It hasn’t been updated since we stayed here in the early 1990s. The lock was impossible to get in, we asked where the ice machine was and we’re given an ice tray, the bathroom door wouldn’t shut, and the manager and a worker had an argument in the parking lot! Do NOT stay here.

We booked a 2 bed room online and It defaults for 2 people Apparently. We were a family of 4, I just forgot to change it online. When I checked it she asked if for 2 people, I said it’s for 4..she charged me extra $25 because rate is based on number of people in the room...? That didn’t make sense to me and she observes you as you make your way to your room too..

I have given this poor rating to help consumers understand that the managing staff have extreme limitations and training. I prepaid for my stay, and yet the staff verbally abused me and made outlandish accusations based on something from her past. What a shock of mistaken identity and her past experiences! I am a long time EXPEDIA senior member. Nothing like what I experienced has ever happened to me previously. I booked this motel because it was 1 mile close to my wife's family and we were here for an unfortunate family situation. Expedia members and consumers-- take my advice and steer clear of this property. Even though Pullman is a University city, with many University events that attracts folks, please take my advice and be cautious and aware of this property.

I booked in advanced and showed up at 8:30 p.m. to check in. No one was available or answering any phone calls. 30 minutes later the staff showed up with Domino's pizza. No apology for me standing outside...just ushered me in like I was a nuisance. The room was okay but bathroom was dirty. Of the five shampoo packets that were given to me, two were open and all of them were sticky. Soap packet was open as well. Looked like they reused the soap. I have stayed here many times and it has always been on the low list of Pullman hotels. But this was the worst and I will never stay there again. Only benefit was being located right next to Old European for breakfast.

Safety issue

I checked in Friday. The woman checking me was very friendly! She gave me the option to look at two rooms and decide which one I wanted, Rm 251 or Rm 240. She gave me the two keys and I headed up to the 2nd floor. I couldn't spot Rm 240 right away so went to 251. I used the Rm 251 key to open Rm 251, no problem, room looked fine, clean. I left and when I went to lock the door from the outside, I couldn't get it to lock. The woman saw me and came up to help me. She took the Rm 251 key from me and then said "you don't need a key to lock the door from the outside, just pull it firmly shut." That worked. I then asked her to show me where Rm 240 was. We walked down the walkway, and then had to step out onto a low roof, go around a corner to Rm 240, which was away from the rest of the rooms. She still had the key for Rm 251 and proceeded to unlock Rm 240 with the Rm 251 key! I was shocked and asked her about it. She answered:"Oh the keys work the same for all the rooms." What!? Unfortunately, because it was Apple Cup football weekend, there was little to no availability to stay anywhere else. I ended up staying there. I used the deadbolt when inside my room (251) and then just took my items with me anytime I left the room. I only slept there. I can deal with outdated furnishings, a lamp that doesn't work, a bathroom light missing one light bulb out of three. But a safety issue like this?! Nope.

LIMITED ROOMS THAT ALLOW PETS! There were no clear indication on Expedia's page that you were supposed to call in advance to check if the rooms that allow pets are available. Therefore, we drove 5 hours just to find out that our dog was not allowed as the rooms that allow were all taken. It also says 24H Reception Office but it was closed in the morning (10AM!!!). The bedsheets had bunch of bed bugs and the air conditioner/heater is loud as hell! I will never ever ever stay at this hotel again.
