"Great location in a cute town"

"Just got back from a week in Naxos ( October 25 ) the place was incredible. From the ferry we took the local bus (2.30 euros) and drop off 25 feet from the Hotel. Ocean view. The staff was so accommodating, and the Spa treatment was sensational. breakfast buffet was very generous and stayed open till 11 AM. Meals at the hotel were a little more expensive but more refined than the local restaurants. When we left, most of the restaurants were closing down for the season. "

"The staff was amazing. The property is pretty. Breakfast was good. I am vegan so I unfortunately had very few options and when I asked about options I was only pointed to what they had; no effort was made to try to accommodate for the additional days I was at the property (we stayed 4 nights) so that was disappointing but I always come prepared and had brought on my travels vegan protein powder and popped into a grocery store and got some vegan butter. Anything else you needed you just had to ask and they would provide. They arranged my ATV rental as well which was so convenient as the rental company came to the hotel and dropped off and we just left the ATV for them at the property and they came to pick up "

From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by crystal-clear water, golden sand, and these incredible cliffs — it’s like a dream. We learned while we were there that it took 20 years to build Calilo, and you can feel it in every detail. The whole property is full of artwork, hand-carved stone, and beautiful mosaics. It’s not just a hotel – it feels like you’re staying inside a gallery blended perfectly with nature. We travel quite frequently and this is arguably the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. We received a complimentary room upgrade and loved it! It had a ‘pond’, which was really a private pool and a terrace overlooking the beach. Just gorgeous! The staff deserves a huge shoutout. Every single person we met was friendly, genuine, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. From little surprises in the room to great tips about the island, it felt like they really cared about our experience. The bar manager and tender went above and beyond - even blending fresh mango just for our drinks! Calilo isn’t just a place to stay — it’s an experience. We left feeling completely refreshed and already planning when we can come back. If you’re thinking about it, book it. You will not regret it. We will definitely stay for longer next time!"

"A honeymoon delight. The suit we wanted for the whole stay wasn’t available so we made two booking. This one was pretty, private and had its own pool terrace are, large spacious room with a beautiful bathroom. "
