Top Province of Munster Hotel Reviews

Commodore Hotel
8/10 Good
"Rooms were well kept. Common area little rough. Fantastic location. Clean rooms. super limited parking. Must call to reserve parking, even though website says “first come first served and cannot be booked” which was quite disappointing."

Eviston House Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Limited parking approx 16 spots total but free. Sound from event space travels, but ends at reasonable time. "

Dingle Harbour Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was the best. The receptionist Skye SAVED our trip. She organized a driver for us when we needed it and helped so much. We couldn’t have had the trip we did without her. "

Imperial Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"One’s room is very complicated."

Moxy Cork
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location for traveling by train. Took train next morning to Cobh to explore there, as well. Only complaint in Cork, no fault of their own, was the weather. I wanted to travel to Kinsale and to Blarney Castle from this location and the weather just didnt cooperate. "

Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was fantastic. Close to city center. Clean and quiet. Comfortable beds. "

Cork International Hotel
6/10 Okay
"When I booked the room I booked the room that had one wall of all windows in a view. So when I got there the gentleman put me into the first floor room. I asked what the view was and he said the curb. I requested he put me in a room like I saw in the pictures. So then I got moved up to a second floor room. Really no view but I was so tired. It's deceiving. The room itself is cleaned and good but be careful booking don't pay for any extra thing that you think you're going to get."

Limerick City Hotel
4/10 Poor
"We simply were not told that the hotel is filled with migrants and homeless. Windows either locked or broken, perhaps to stop theft. Buggies and pushchairs fill 1st floor lobby next to lift. Bags of food left outside rooms for the non paying guests, whilst the paying guests all on the 5th floor. Rooms are worn and outdated, but clean. Heating on full blast, why? To make the migrants feel more at home? No idea. On the plus side the polish lady who runs the bar area is lovely and the breakfast was really very good. It has a very traditional Irish BnB feel to it so credit where credit is due there, it’s just a real shame the hotel can’t be up front to paying guests, who really should not have to pay as much due to the circumstances. It left a bad taste and we couldn’t get out of Limerick fast enough"

Premier Inn Cork City Centre
2/10 Terrible
"Honestly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. It was our first time trying this brand. The location is kind of odd as you have to enter from the back of the building. Not a great place to drop off luggage and check in. We had reserved two rooms. They were no where near each other (we did not have an early check in- we came well after 5p) and initially the first room we were given smelled like urine. I couldn’t stand it. We were given another room right away but after getting into the shower my children realized the bathroom shower curtain was covered in yellow stains and also smelled like urine. I immediately removed the curtain and threw it in the hallway. Which by the way smelled of smoke and cannabis. My children complained of the smells every time we had to leave the room. Our air conditioning was not working on top of everything. It was just a gross hotel, the beds were clean and comfortable but that’s about it. So may loud noises and we had a lovely view of graffiti out our windows. I would never stay at a Premier Inn after this experience. "
