"Trogon was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The property and the location was priceless. The staff was fantastic and always willing to help. The cabins were clean and cozy and with the weather it will probably the best sleep you will ever have. The Food is very good plus there are a few other very good options within a couple of KM's. The bar/lounge was amazing and a Mojito is a must..."

"This was one of the best "glamping" experiences we have ever had! We were in a tent but it was a huge very well ventilated rigid tent on a solid platform with an attached beautiful bathroom with huge walk in shower. We sat on our two rocking chairs on the huge open deck area and watched the birds every morning and the sunsets every night. We fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle and woke up to the many bird songs. Breakfasts were included with our stay and varied between a fixed menu and a buffet depending on how many guests were there. We ate every meal there and frequented the bar as well. The Lodge is too far away from any other options. The food was excellent! We were surprised how reasonable the prices were for both bar and restaurant. The staff were fantastic! Stephanie helped us with our many questions and put us on the right path for an excellent hike on the property. Randal was our guide for a night walk on the property with the best experience we've ever had with red-eyed tree frogs. Randal was also one the guides who accompanied us on our white water rafting trip. It was excellent! They even provided fruit during the experience at a beautiful waterfall. We had a guide in each of the small rafts and they all made even the road trip to the starting point interesting. They kept stopping the truck and picking different types of plants for us to identify...beautiful herbs and medicinal plants. Thank you Rafiki and staff...we'll be back!"

"The room floors were dirty, they hadn’t been swept or mopped. There were dead bugs and dried food stuck to the floor. We had to ask for a top sheet because the bed was made without it. You couldn’t open the bedroom window for fresh air because there wasn’t any screen and two windows wouldn’t close which made it cold in the morning. The locate and staff were great!"
