"Rod was a great host - a fan in one of the bedrooms was not working (we only realized as we were going to bed) and he brought us a new one straight away. As for the place itself, that was fine, but amenities lacking. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms and only one toilet roll per bathroom - in a place that sleeps 6 people. The only air conditioner is in the lounge and it does not cool even the lounge properly on the lowest setting. The mobile airconditioning unit in the main bedroom does not cool and is extremely noisy when on. "

"We had a great stay 10/10. The property is positioned greatly. The room was nice and each balcony had gas grill for braai. They have all you need on site but there are restaurants close in walking distance and a checkers less than 5 minutes away. The staff is great. I’d like to specifically thank Sandra for finding an additional night for us when it became available. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the fire works were amazing. They put on quite a show for the guest. All of our food and drinks were good. We were ready to extend our trip a few more days how nice everything was but they were book solid. We are really appreciative for the extra night that we were able to book even though nothing was left online. The ocean views, the pool and the beach were all great. It was my first time visiting Balitto while visiting South Africa from the US and I’ll definitely be coming back on my future trips to this beautiful country.
