"Wow! What a good time we had at Waring House. Check in was quick and seamless. Our room was clean, spacious, nice sized balcony, very large 2-person tub, large soft towels and the beds were so comfortable! It was Saturday night and entertainment started at 6:30 in the pub. “The Reasons” were the local band, I’d return again just for their show, great music and there was even a bit of room for dancing. If you’re in the Picton area, choose The Waring House. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Drake Devonshire and Motor Inn. Friendly and efficient staff at the Inn and restaurant made the stay pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, nice amenities including a tablet to help search for things to do in and around the county. WiFi was available and worked, but a bit slow. WiFi being important since the cellular signals in the area was weak. We enjoyed breakfast (twice) and dinner at the inn. Quality, taste and presentation of the meals were excellent. As we drove over 360km in an Electric Vehicle (EV), the availability of EV charging stations was important. Use was on a first come first serve basis, which worked fine for us, however, one of the two EV charging stations was out of service, potentially making this a challenge if many visitors were at the Inn with EVs. The Inn is well located in Wellington, very close to a grocery store, sandwich, coffee and ice cream shops as well as some art and antique shops in the area. Overall a very positive experience."
