Hotels near Prehistoric Sites and Decorated Caves of the Vézère Valley

"Expedia sells this as a 3-star hotel. This is a vacation rental property with no frills. When we landed at the property at 7:30pm, they had left the chalet open with the key in the door (that at least, they communicated with us about), the bed unmade, and no soap or amenities to talk about. When I messaged them, they said that this was a holiday rental property and not a hotel and they did not do beds or provide soap etc. I am not sure how to trust Expedia and their rating system after this....

L'établissement est situé à l'extérieur de la ville à proximité d'un restaurant bowling également de bonne qualité, permettant de poser sa voiture jusqu'au départ. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. "Lovely quiet location looking over the valley. Unfortunately, it was very wet so we weren’t able to enjoy sitting outside on the terrace which looked a wonderful space. Very crazy to drive down into Sarlat."
