"This is an exceptional hotel. The staff is so helpful, warm and embracing and ensuring all your needs are met. The room is exquisitely directed with a spectacular view and a wonderful balcony to enjoy and take it all in. The bed is very comfortable and the amenities are perfect. The bathroom is spacious and also lovely soaps, shampoo etc The property is well maintained and spotless, inside and outside. The jacuzzi is so relaxing and the view is epic! Breakfast is incredible!! Such a fabulous selection of local fruits, fresh juices, cheeses and so much more!! Do yourself the treat to make your special stay on Terceira at this excellent hotel!"

"The hotel genuinely earns all excellent ratings. The staff is so welcoming, warm and caring, offering exceptional guest care. The room is perfect, from a cozy, comfortable bed area, lovely couch in a seating area with a gorgeous view, to a well stocked functional kitchen. The bathroom is large and stocked with lovely amenities. The restaurant offers a set dinner menu which is absolutely delicious and offering local ingredients in the wonderful menu. The hotel is in the center of the charming town, within easy walking distance of all you could need and enjoy. Do yourself the favor and make this hotel a must to ensure a lovely stay on Teceira."

"WOST EXPERIENCE EVER On my second day, I greeted the maintenance lady and made sure the sign was up for room cleaning service, left the room (and double checked that the door was well closed) and was out for the day. When I came back, my backpack that I’ve put in a strategical position was open and on the floor, my passport out of the front pocket and my money out of my passport case (a bit over 200€ cash). My clothes were initially in packing cubes in my suitcase. When I came back, some clothes that I haven’t pulled out nor worn yet and were completely at the bottom of my suitcase were either out of it or on top of my clothes pile! I warned the hotel manager about it and he automatically blamed me for not putting my stuff in the locked safe!!! I even referred him to the European Tourism Law, art. 1039 a) of the civil code but nothing. I needed that money for the rest of my trip, especially for taxis since most of them don’t accept Apple Pay. Uber isn’t supported on Terceira island, Bolt drivers were all busy and I could only book an airport shuttle reservation for the next day. The manager didn’t want to compensate me or anything. I asked an employee at the lobby if he could order me a taxi that would accept Apple Pay and he accepted. Quick phone call and he confirms that a taxi will pick me up shortly. I asked him if he told the driver that I could only pay with Apple Pay to which he said yes but when the taxi arrived, he said that he didn’t accept tap credit card."

"Time of year October 20th - a bit of raining season. Hotel was very comfortable, location to most things within the island as well as airport. Staff was very helpful. Only negative situation was that we had no hot water in our sink or shower on our second morning. Was to be fixed during the day, ultimately it was not. Early evening after telling front desk that hot water still did not exist, it was fixed. It is possible that I am expecting HOT WATER as an American tourist, but the island might just deliver a lower level of hot. Be aware that 2 beds are not queen size, but small twin size. They worked, but not what a American is used too. I would stay there again as the staff was very helpful and breakfast was good. Hal "
