"Fine hotel, but there’s room for improvement. Was traveling with my friend through Romania and this hotel was one of the less service minded. When we checked it the reception guy had limited English skills. Even in the restaurant there was lack of communication skills. "The place is gorgeous, and the conditions were great. It is located in a beautiful, quiet area, surrounded by trees. Both Peles castle, the park and the city center are situated at a walking distance (max 30 minutes), but you can also take a bus or an Uber to get there. "The location is wonderful - right on the Council Square with a view of the plaza & Council Tower. Very convenient for visiting the Old Town & shopping. Staff is very welcoming & helpful. There is no lift, but the room was spacious & comfortable. The shower was a large oddly shaped tub with a handheld sprayer. The breakfast was nice, & the staff very friendly. Overall, would highly recommend! "
