Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. "Wow! Just wow! We booked this on a whim at the last minute. I was in Piemonte two weeks ago and after spending a week in France I had to come back. This place was affordable and over delivered. We arrived late and hungry. They were closed already but they had a group enjoying a big meal so they were kind enough to allow us to eat. The food was incredible, classic regional cuisine. VITELLO TONNATO was killer, salad, Tajarin w/ ragú, Gnocchi, braised beef, tiramisu, lemon gelato. Bottle of Champagne and they allowed me a corkage. The breakfast spread was out of this world. Fresh pressed juice, eggs, bacon, pasties, meats, everything you need to fuel up! We will be back, maybe in two days for one last night!"
