"The property was excellent. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure outstanding. My husband and I were very disappointed however with the breakfast provided. There was very little choice - and only carbohydrates - cereal, bread, waffles, bagels and english muffins. Only bananas as the fruit. There was juice available, which we did not drink. There was no protein available to eat....yogurt, or hard cooked eggs would have been perfect. Both my husband and I are diabetic and need something besides carbohydrates for breakfast. His blood sugar went through the roof after he ate (the high 200's). Please consider providing protein with your breakfast offerings."

The only bummer was the room we had was in Bldg F on ground floor and the lady that checked us in said we would have a partial view of lake but there were too many bushes so it was more like a sliver view. If you come back in the evening you may not be able to park close to your bldg."

"It is an older hotel but maintained with pride and charm. The feel of the property was similar to a high end B&B. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Also the property is tucked away off the main highway so it is peaceful and comfortable. The continental breakfast was served with care and elegance for healthy choices. I definitely recommend staying there and hope to return someday."
