The location of the hotel is good if you want to visit Meran but you are not staying there. It's also good for some hiking. Other then that, the village is small, there isn't much there.
However they have 2 ok restaurants but you need to reserve.
The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are nice, bathroom was spacious, the mattress was a bit hard and the pillows not the best. Sauna area is small but nice and was never full. Breakfast was okay, not super special but just fine.
Room cleaning was okay but it could be better. One day it was good but the other two days there were things on the floor and the room was smelling bad after cleaning. After airing out it was fine. The storage thing was that the cleaning personnel was always in the mornings around 8:30 am waiting in front of our room but I guess we just had the room where they hang out.
You can drive by car to Bolzano or to Meran but you can also conveniently take the bus. We liked both Meran and Bolzano so it's worth a trip in our opinion.
