This place is awesome for a trip to Positano. The staff is incredibly nice and helps you with any questions you may have regarding the area or travel. Highly recommend staying here!
We had the absolute best time at this hotel and Positano! Andrea and staff were so incredibly helpful and nice! They helped us with anything we may have needed! We will definitely be back!!
Hotel Demora Fornillo was pure magic. The views, helpful staff, complementary breakfast in the garden and location were perfect. The location is on the north side of Positano, nestled up the hill (about 300 steps UP). We found this location to out of the busy downtown area, however just a close walk by foot! It truly felt like a vacation and only wish we stayed longer.
Loved it!! It is up 1,000,000 stairs but so worth it! Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, we met the owner too and he was great. Beautiful views from the property and very central. Send you good instructions before you check in and help with getting your bags there.
The hotel was built into the side of the mountain. The staff and owner were very kind and attentive. The only negative and this applies to any hotel in the area is the amount of stairs you need to climb to go anywhere.
We stayed on the top floor and the view and the room gave us a lifelong memory. The staff is very kind. The only way to get there is by walking up the stairs from the shore or down the stairs from the road, and it is quite a leg workout.
Absolutely amazing hotel in Positano. Very spacious room with a really great terrace and view. The property staff were very friendly and helpful. It does take a lot of stairs to get to and from the hotel but that is basically anywhere in Positano. Free breakfast was nice and convenient. Only downside to this hotel is that the internet connection in the room is terrible, little to no connection, other than that, amazing property.
The hotel is in a privileged location, excellent view to the Mediterranean sea from our balcony. The staff is very polite and super helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. To get access to the hotel from street you need to take several stairs, but it is a short distance. I will stay there again.
The staff were wonderful and thoughtful regarding our needs. They recommended a wonderful restaurant at the top of Positano and called a car service for us to get there and back. Wonderful
A beautiful location with amazing views! The owner is very charming and the staff are super attentive. Breakfast was simple but lovely with excellent cappuccinos! It is a bit of a walk into the main town and, being Positano, involves many stairs so just be aware of that. Not a problem for us and we loved that the property is a bit tucked away so very quiet at night. Overall a wonderful stay!
Absolutely loved my stay here. We were in room 57 and had what I believe was the most immaculate view in all of Positano! It was definitely a hike so I recommend walking for young people who want a hard workout and using the porter service for people who do not like hiking uphill. The breakfast service was perfect start to the day and included a very kind and friendly staff. I hope to return someday!
This picturesque property is better in person. The location is perfect and the staff is friendly and informative. Breakfast in the lovely garden was a perfect start to each day. We look forward to a future stay here again same room longer stay. LOL
Fantastic balcony & views from the hotel.
As with everywhere in Positano there are many steps to get anywhere. Only criticism is the size of the shower, a little on the small side.
Loads of choice for breakfast
