"The location for forio is ideal however not all staff members were very helpful. The common areas were largely good however the pool did seem like it needed to be cleaned for the duration of our trip. We had a dirty towel provided on turnover of the room and around the shower tray was not the cleanest. Overall it was a good stay but I’m not sure we would stay again"

"I loved this hotel. The decor is slightly dated in the most perfect, enchanting, retro way. The rooms were big and comfortable and the amenities were great - two pools, sauna etc. Right across the road from Citara Beach, near the bus stop and Poseidon gardens, and a reasonably priced scooter rental at the end of the driveway if you’d like another form of transport. The restaurants in the immediate vicinity aren’t amazing but it’s an easy walk into Forio for many much better options. One request to future travellers - when using the public spaces such as the pool/ bar please keep in mind that other people are also on their holidays and might not necessarily enjoy you being excessively loud whilst they’re trying to relax or take a nap. You don’t need to be so loud so as to disturb other people’s enjoyment of the space and no one except you and your immediate companions care about what you have to say."

"The service here is top tier. Just a few things to note/be aware of: - Wifi is weak in rooms because of the concrete wall. They moved our room for us, but it still wasn't that strong of a connection. - Dinner is excellent at the hotel, definitely plan one meal there - A pool towel "exchange" costs 2 eur a towel (which we were not told) - The shuttle is helpful, but does not run very frequently and the hotel is not close to a bus stop, so you'll often have to rely on the shuttle or taxis."

"The view from the terrace is very beautiful. We had a room with access to the terrace and a sea view. The villa is full of flowers—it feels like being in a botanical garden, superb. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very kind, talkative, and friendly, always ready to offer advice for an easy and pleasant visit to the island. Weak point: the internet did not work at all in the room; it was only functional in the reception area, and even there it was quite weak."
