"This boutique hotel was built in 1856, has most of the original character but with modern ensuite bathrooms installed in the spacious rooms. It is located within easy walking distance (with luggage) from the Poschiavo train station and right on the lovely town square. Our welcome was warm and friendly. We were given a quick tour of the historical hotel and shown to our room. We thought the comment "you will be sleeping in a museum" was funny, but that's exactly what it was. We loved it. The...

"I have been to many places, but this was something else. The owner greeted me once I arrived, he didn’t speak much English but his daughter (?) helped me out. They are really nice people. The room I got was recently renovated, it looks modern and the shower was great. Unfortunately I couldn’t have a dinner there, because I arrived late, but there are many options around. Overall it was a great experience, nice breakfast and lovely welcoming family run business. I will definitely come back. "
