Thr staff was very accommodating and nice. The place is run down. The chair in my room had big stains. The curtains were torn. The hotel is very dated.

Looks run down. Worn carpeting, peeling wall paper, etc. View from room window looks like a construction equipment storage site. In no way worth the $200 plus we paid for one night. Never again.

The property was decently run down and under construction. The shower barely put out a trickle of water and the bed was squeaky. For $200+ a night, that doesn't seem like a good value.

Is kinda a sketchy hotel. We watched 2 employees (who appear to live on the property) roll in at like 11pm and proceed to spit on the motorcycle in the parking lot of one of the other guests. It’s a decent enough hotel I guess, but has a sketchy vibe all about it.

I booked a reservation for one night stay and I had to extend my reservation for another day. Based on my experience the front desk staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about other accommodations regarding extending your stay The hotel is very clean and very welcoming! The hotel is located in the boarder of New Hampshire and Maine it makes it easier to travel for business our family road trips. I personally recommend it!

Good central location just off the Portsmouth traffic roundabout, adequately comfortable bed and not too noisy being close to a major traffic artery. Free coffee was terrible instant coffee from a machine. There are no free snacks or breakfast and the juice machines are all out of order. The ceiling over our bed was water stained. The whole property is shabby and unkempt. Remember the property being pretty decent ten years ago when friends stayed there but now it has really declined.

Very affordable, clean and convenient to downtown Portsmouth. Down side is it is under renovation but that is why it is so cheap. Very good place to sleep, which is all we wanted to do.

Unfortunately, You get what you pay for. Hotel layout is awkward, many dated features, and no breakfast. At checkin there was a mistake and we received keys to a room that was already in use...front desk kindly fixed mistake.

Renovating

The property is undergoing construction and thus is unattractive with temporary “carpet” and boarded up areas. The room we have has had some new carpet but the furniture is still beat up and tired. The curtains, although good quality and pretty are ripped in two places. The check-in person was very friendly and warm.

The room was dirty. The bathroom amenities in the room were used. They are under renovations which I knew making my reservations, but it looked like the place was just overall unkempt. Not worth the money spent.

Hardly anyone there but didn't permit early checkin without an extra fee. Most places I go to are accommodating. I asked to use the restroom prior to checkin and was told there was none. Close to highway and extremely noisy all night long. Good rate comparatively speaking but not worth the discomfort or inconvenience.
