"One of the best Scottish full breakfast meals of our holiday. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early. We had room#8 and from the minute I walked in, I started sneezing and my eyes would water up and get congested. Fortunately we weren't in the room much but I barely got any sleep due to tossing and turning. Finally after three of our four nights we had to leave. The hotel did offer to see if they could move rooms but that really wouldn't have mattered at that point. I am allergic to dogs and perhaps that is the reason. Unfortunately our rooms were non refundable so I had to lose a nights costs to get a good night of sleep. "

"The website and pictures suggest a different experience than the reality. The property is a bit tired and you get a sense that it does a good business, year round, so need to worry."

"One of the more beautiful hotels that I've been to. The hotel staff are great, the dinner and free breakfast were fantastic and it's located right on the water which provides stunning views. I would absolutely come back here again"

"The full stay was beautiful, staff really lovely and friendly, room was spotless and loved the surprise when I arrived after not having my bedding changed, unique and extremely thoughtful. "The room and common areas were very nice here and felt clean. We loved our room and the bed. Great bathroom and shower. The hotel does have a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner but we felt it was expensive. There’s obviously lots of cafes and trinket shops around in Portree. I will warn that there are only stairs here so big bags could be difficult or accessibility concerns. Parking is right in front if you are able to get a spot. "

"Area of Harrapool was lovely and quiet. There was a co-op near by which was great being in a cabin with cooking facilities. The market close by was nice to visit for little gifts to bring home from local makers. The cabins themselves were immaculate and couldn’t fault the staff that we had interactions with. Was about a 30 minute drive from Portree. "
