"We absolutely loved it here! We were warmly greeted and quickly shown to our rooms. A quick trip up the stairs later we were greeted to a very comfortable room.
This is a delightful place to stay if you are interested in exploring the isle of Skye. It's a little bit more of a drive than staying on island, but it's more comfortable. The town of Portree feels busy and cramped, and some of the places on Skye are way out of the way.
This location was perfect!
It can be tricky for get dinner - most places need a reservation or they'll turn you away (even if there are many empty tables to be seen). However, this place is really close to an amazing fish and chip shop (Siaway). Their burgers are delightful as well. There's also a closeby pub we grabbed food from and a co-op store within 5-10 minutes drive.
The place itself is beautiful, warm, and welcoming.
The parking is easy to get into, safe, and plentiful.
The breakfast might have been one of my favourite breakfasts of the trip.
The two hosts we interacted with on our stay were really friendly and helpful. They had a map that helped us on our travels around Skye and really good tips.
I hope I can return here one day. I loved it so much!!"
