I booked this hotel through expedia for 4 nights. The hotel is nice, our room was comfotable and clean. I would have given them 4 stars however we had to check out early due to a personal matter and the hotel refused to refund us saying it was up to expedia to reimburse us and when I contacted Expedia, they told us its up to the hotel to reimburse us. Having said that, it left a bad taste with us and won't be staying here or using expedia again.

A beautiful and luxurious hotel over looking picturesque Portovenere harbour. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Amazing buffet breakfast, meals and bar. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend this hotel to use as your base to explore Cinque Terre region. You can access the villages by ferry from front of hotel or by train from La Spezia.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and we spent two night here. The hotel is wonderful, the people very nice and helpful and the town is a great place to have base to then go on to explore the rest of the region.

This hotel was excellent for many reasons. The staff made sure that we got everything we needed. Food was excellent and restaurant staff was very attentive. The area is convenient for walking to restaurants, shops , and sights. Also, you can take the ferry to Cinque Terre across from the hotel.
