"We stayed at this gorgeous hotel last year for just a night and loved it so much, we made a plan to specifically come back this year! The location is perfect - steps away from the vaporetto stop to Venice (~an hour to get to San Marco), at the top of the main pedestrian street, with gorgeous views of the lagoon, and plenty of dining options nearby, including right downstairs at the hotel. Make sure to splurge for the hotel breakfast, as the dining rooms and the view from there are simply breathtaking (actual food selection is really good, too, with everything from cornetti and fruit to savory items). And, well, if you can, get a room with a lagoon view. It makes for a wonderfully enchanting and relaxing stay. All the rooms are very elegant and modern, and the staff is delightful. We will definitely be back!!! P.S. If you want to do some very affordable - but surprisingly good! - shopping, keep in mind the weekly street market is on Thursday mornings and starts right outside the hotel."

"Wanted a place with direct beach access, which with had through Stella Maris. Parking was limited. We were lucky to grab the last one when we arrived. The family after us were not so lucky. "

"A great stay at Al Ponticello while on our Northern Italian trip, chose the hotel because of its location but with limited knowledge of Comacchio. It really is a hidden treasure of a town with history and a fantastic local culture. Before arriving we were messaged by Riccardo to inform us of an event that was happening and that roads were closed. On arrival Riccardo was the most helpful and friendly person to meet. He offered local restaurant recommendations and told us what to look for in the area. The room was very nice and quirky, we were in the eaves of the roof with low ceilings as expected but the central glass shower and round bed were very nice touches. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay to remember. Just a note: you do have to pay for parking which we were not aware of."

"The people on the reception were very friendly and competent. Prices at the bar were totaly ok. Our apartment in the castle was big and comfortable. Animations for the kids were every evening and the Animators did a good job. On saturday evening there was a band, who played Songs od the 80's. It was cool! All in all a well-organized host."
