"The hotel and the staff are excellent, my only complaint was with the air conditioning which was not working and the room would get very hot and made it difficult to sleep. The staff tried to do everything possible to accommodate us but the problem could be solved, besides this issue I fully recommend this hotel. The hotel is great, it does make you feel you are in a castle, the staff is magnificent, they really go out of their way to serve you in every way possible. "

"Located just outside Espinho, but around a 2km walk along the broadwalk, which you can access at the rear of the hotel. Or a little bit more than 2km if you go via the main road, but with wide sidewalks. Uber here is the cheapest I’ve seen so around £5. The beach outside the hotel is rocky, but another 5 min walk to the left, you can find a sandy area. We arrived early and was allowed to make use of the facilities until our room was ready at 4pm.
