"There are some little things that could be improved but I’ve stayed here twice now and I still think it’s the best value in Seattle. The location and price are hard to beat and the rooms are private with shared bathrooms in the hallway. My suggestions would be: - Add some shelves in the bathrooms where guests can put their clothes and toiletries while they shower. The floors get pretty wet and it’s hard to keep things off the floor. - The mattresses sag a bit and could use some updating, you can feel the springs. They’re OK for comfort but not great. - Make it more clear that you need to use the room door code to both lock and unlock the door every time you enter and exit the room. It briefly mentions it in the text you receive but maybe a sign on the inside of the door to remind guests how it works. These doors don’t automatically lock like you’d expect at most hotels. Overall though I’ve been pretty happy both times I’ve stayed here and I would stay again in the future. I recommend it if you don’t mind sharing the bathroom in the hallway (they are still individual bathrooms). It’s somewhat between a hostel and a hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Tides Inn and would definitely choose to stay here again. We liked the walkable location & were able to stroll right into town easily. Our room was very clean, and the water views from the property were absolutely beautiful. The buildings have some minor wear and tear & the rooms are not soundproof, but it did not impact our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and offers excellent value for the location. We will be back!"

Coachman Inn & Suites

"My fiancee and I really enjoyed our stay in our Jacuzzi tub room! The tub is huge and the water stayed hot while filling the whole thing up. It was the perfect way to end a long day spent out at Deception Pass State park, which is less than a 15 minute drive away! At night, there are lights strung up in all the trees on the property making it feel a little magical and romantic. There are a good number of places to eat nearby too, very convenient. Staff was so friendly. We look forward to our next trip back!"

"Better experience when you don’t have a car to park here. I liked the food and bar options. The room was super clean, comfortable. The parking is typical of Seattle, narrow parking spots and not enough parking for a packed hotel. The garage is underground and could not fit a truck. The EV charger is there, but a challenge to park there. I didn’t attempt it to prevent vehicle damage, went to a nearby Tesla Supercharger instead. Parking fees $24 each night, deposit on room $50 in case of damage, refunded in a few days."
