"This ended up being a hotel you only dream of when you book on line! From the location, layout to the staff and food it was all a 10 out of 10! The food in the restaurant was lovely and accommodated my need for gluten-free. The pool area was neat and tidy, and although the weather was not very hot, we still had an opportunity to hang out there for a little bit. Everything was in walking distance, including all of the boats that you can take onto Lake Garda. The room was generously sized, and of course, my favorite was the balcony overlooking the lake. All the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we will make sure we come back."

"Excellent hotel if you are looking for clean, convenient, safe, great food with breakfast buffet included, delicious options for dinner and walkable to shopping and restaurants. Valet your car or train and walk over. Highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Desenzano. Note on Tuesdays there is a Green Market in front of the hotel so enjoy shopping and eating local cheeses, meats and desserts. It wraps up by 2pm so if checking out that day hotel will store your luggage so you can experience the market and grab lunch at one of the amazing restaurants nearby before you head out. Will definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to get back to Desenzano, "

"Very clean room with recently remodeled bath and a large patio. Staff was extremely helpful helping us find some excellent restaurants. They also helped us with the ferry. Location is very convenient. We recommend you bring long USB cables as the outlets are few."

"Such an amazing value for the incredible views and walk ability to restaurants and the ferry! We were able to walk there from the train station easily as well when we arrived and departed. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed an apertivo at the restaurant on site each night. The balcony views were amazing and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again!"

"We had the most wonderful stay at Il Sogno. Our room was very clean and spacious, with an amazing balcony overlooking the lake. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and gave us a lot of great tips for local places to visit. Breakfast was great, fresh and coffee was quality. I really liked a little play area next to the breakfast room where kids could play while parents enjoyed their morning coffee. The pool was nice and clean and the location was amazing - 5mins walk from the lake and the town centre but on a quiet street so you can really rest. I can’t wait to go back! "
