"We loved our stay at the Hotel Villa Edy, and especially appreciated the warmth of the staff. The rooms were not large but had everything we needed. It was important to us to have effective air conditioning since we were visiting during a heat wave, and the air conditioning had no trouble keeping the room cool. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated and the pool was wonderful. Special thanks to Christine who stayed late to check us in after a day of travel delays, and to Sidney and Abershen (sorry for the poor spelling of your name) for your friendliness. You made our stay that much more enjoyable! The hotel is up a bit of a hill but we loved that it was a bit removed from the busyness of the main streets. We would definitely stay here again!!"

"Check in was at a different location than the studio where I stayed. Apple Maps also shows “Residence Lenno” at a different location than the correct address s make sure you read all the details in the booking app to get the correct address and instructions on where to check-in. Other than that, it was a great stay! Super easy to walk to Villa de Balbianello and the scenery is beautiful."

"Staff excellent, food exceptional, views stunning, accommodation of high standard. Downside, access to the hotel not straightforward and lack of sunloungers around the pool. One further point to mention is that there are no reasonable restaurants to walk to from this hotel, so one had to either eat at this hotel or drive some distance."

"I was disappointed to find out that I had booked an apartment in the “residence portion” instead of booking a room at the Hotel. It was a complete oversight on my part… so pay attention to what you’re booking!!! While the apartment was clean and had a great view, it was not what I was expecting when I booked. The staff tried to accommodate my offering a hotel room for one night, however it would have been quite inconvenient for me to move multiple times. The staff at the front desk (Alicia and -Rhea and others) are beyond helpful. I made the mistake of not calling or emailing them in advance of the trip. For example I’m sure they would have suggested renting a car and/or let me knows that the only option is to take public transportation, eg crowded, hot ferries and buses or pay up $150 + for a taxi ONE WAY! This is a single most critical thing. I did not realize when booking this trip… Transportation is a mess. The hotel had a DJ one night that we enjoyed very much along with the nice stuff at the pool bar. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a nice view… and while there was quite a variety, it was my least favorite meal of the hotel. The hotel itself is in a rather remote location (we didn’t want to be surrounded by tourists). So if you like that - I highly recommend Filario especially if you stay at the hotel. The beach access is very convenient and there is a beautiful pool although we didn’t use it. The views and quiet mornings of the lake are magical."

"Amazing hotel in a beautiful little town. Perfect location as just 15/20 mins from bellagio. Staff couldnt be more helpful, views were incredible. Breakfast was lovely. On the bus route from bellagio to como bus stop just outside the hotel. We had a card but didn’t use it at all here. Take the path/road right opposite that takes you up and inbetween the house and you will find many little pathways to avoid walking on the road into the busier side of town. There are also lovey walk along the lake further into town. Ferry 10 mins walk, has a few in the morning that take you to all the major towns. We then ferry hopped between the triangle. Boat rental 10 mins walk away, 3 restaurants I would recommend are Aurora, we visited in the daytime. At night we loved The Stone House, amazing fresh fish and beautiful pasta and Osteria II Governo 1801 was absolutely incredible, make sure to book that one in advance to guarantee a table."
