"This was the first time we have stayed in Seadrift and I just wanted it to be nice for our 56th anniversary. But, this rental was not just nice- it was truly exceptional. I was very impressed by: 1) it was a completely separate cabin - did have steps up to porch and main door. 2) it was large and air conditioned and super clean. - had a bedroom first- with king size bed. (very, very comfortable) and a large TV (with Direct TV). I was excited to watch MLB on it. After the bedroom area, there was a kitchenette- had a microwave- full size apartment size refrigerator with freezer compartment—- ( we got a bucket of ice from main office coffee/ice room and kept it in freezer)- there was also a sink- and cabinets. The cabinets had paper plates, napkins, glasses, and plastic silverware. We had brought meal preparations and snacks which made the kitchen very useful. Then of course there was an extremely clean and well maintained bathroom with towels, a tub with shower and toilet. I loved the immediate hot water in the shower. There were also shampoo and liquid soap packets and a hair dryer. The cabin had great wi-fi service. Overall, our stay there was excellent- calm- quiet, and very pleasant. We highly recommend this place and look forward to a future trip there."

"As soon as we walked in .everything was wonderful.all the staff made our vacation a pleasant experience.ALL THE LADYS AT THE FRONT DESK WERE VERY HELPFUL AND VERY KIND.it was my first trip with my 4grandchildren .i was a little nervous. We enjoyed THE POOL.THE BREAKFAST THE CLEAN ROOM THE BIG POOL TOWELS.we definitely will coming back ."

"The room was not what they advertised. It had a very unpleasant smell, which resulted in me going out and buying air fresheners. Additionally, the sheets and the pillows had a similar unpleasant smell much like the room itself. The bathroom door could not be closed and would open on its own every 2 minutes or so, upon inspection the bottom hinge was missing. The only thing that was as advertised would be that the AC worked perfectly fine. "

"The rooms are absolutely clean all the time! We've been here on many occasions and what keeps bringing us back is that it is inexpensive. For the price you get an absolutely clean room, clean sheets, homemade breakfast and sometimes lunch and dinners! Depends how the manager/owner is feeling. He cooks scrumptious!!! The staff is so sweet and awesome and will always answer your questions no matter what. They always have fresh coffee, fruit (oranges and bananas) and a snack of some sort all day. There is free parking. Parking at your own risk but everyone watches each other's car and the staff is pretty handy in watching who comes and goes. It is a very comfortable establishment with a pool on-site for your children to play in or for you to take a dip in on a hot summer's day! All the rooms We've stayed in so far are hardwood floors, mini fridge and microwave, queen beds, large TV, tub and toilet in one room and sink on the outside in dressing room. We've been coming here everytime we come into Port Lavaca, TX."
