"Upon arriving, we were greeted by the front desk clerk on duty at the time. She acknowledged my choice membership, and went over my payment details. She was so friendly and professional. I told her she was so refreshing! After a long and trying day, just her smile and great attitude really lifted my spirits. I could tell that she was a little tired as well but still managed to provide great customer service with a smile. Thank you. Our room was very clean despite a pack of cheese and bottled water being left in the refrigerator. Everything else was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were too soft for my liking but overall i slept well. We had some noisy kids above us, i called the front desk and apparently they gave them a call because they did tone down, so i appreciated that as it was getting a little late and we were ready to turn in for the night. Other than that, everything was great. Absolutely will stay again."

"Our stay at River Walk Casino Hotel was a mixed bag. Overall, the hotel is pretty good! The rooms were clean, and the bed was super comfortable—definitely a plus after a long day. However, the casino itself could use a serious upgrade in its ventilation system; it felt a bit stifling while we were there. Now, onto the dining experience. The staff at the front desk recommended the on-site restaurant, so my husband and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we encountered a significant delay in service. I sat there for nearly 20 minutes while staff passed by, focusing on a table of five and some patrons at the bar which were all taken care of by the staff at the bar. Since it was just the two of us—me eating and my husband ordering a drink—I decided to take matters into my own hands and ordered a salad and two sweet teas from the hostess. Kudos to the hostess, though! She was wonderful and genuinely friendly, doing her best to turn around what was becoming a frustrating experience. In summary, while the hotel has its strengths such as cleanliness and comfort, they really need to step up their dining service. Thank you to the friendly hostess for saving the day! "
