"Liked bike storage. Budget cabin needed a lot of maintenance. Screen door missing, West window screen torn and tree leaves fallen inside, bathroom sliding door off track, TV Aerial lead connection intermittently caused very poor tv reception. For a budget cabin this was all tolerable but not great!"

"We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. This time, we received a surprise, an upgrade to the new cottage—a self-contained tiny house with a view of the Mountain and the beautiful river. Warm and cosy, we had peace and quiet. The morning alarm, the local Kookaburras and Yellow-tailed Cockatoos. We will definitely be back."
