"Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely cooked breakfast. Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Great location near the castle and lots of bars and restaurants."

"You cannot get any closer to the train or bus stations. Exceptional location for travel. The hotel offers breakfast on site which is a good price. 10 pounds if you book the day before you want to eat, 14 pounds if you pay that day. Nice breakfast offering the usual continental foods. Very clean and the staff were helpful and courteous. No restaurant on site but close to many options . For a more inexpensive choice of food places, a Whetherspoons in right across the street. There are many menu options and quality is hit and miss but we mostly were satisfied. If there were any issues the staff were happy to correct them. Alcoholic drinks are generally less expensive than other restaurants or bars as well. Take the bus to Cardiff Bay, there’s a great walk way along the water."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had bed & breakfast and the breakfasts had a great choice anthe the cooked breakfast was cooked perfectly for us. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff really helpful. My husband has a disability and is a blue badge holder, walking with sticks. We were very disappointed that the disabled parking was always full being used by obviously abled bodied people. This was because the signage on the two places is very small and very easily missed. This needs to be changed asap as if, a guest was in a wheelchair it would be impossible to ride over the stones from the main or overflow car park. My husband found it difficult to walk from the other car parks with his sticks."

The bed was very comfortable, and everything I needed was provided. The room had a lovely atmosphere and was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. The service was excellent, and the overall experience was even better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay. I’m very happy with my experience and would love to stay here again!"
