"Hotel needs updating… It feels very tired. My room was what looked like an old dilapidated shed in the back of the hotel. Room was as clean as possible… But rug looked ancient, side table was put together with plywood and a white tablecloth. Three very large dining rooms with absolutely nobody in them. Would not recommend staying here."

"In the Highlands walking. Looking forward to a hot bath / shower and drying wet clothes at the Hotel. None could be achieved. Boiler failure. Though this doesn't explain why the electric heater didn't work. No discount was offered, a free breakfast had to be requested. It would be a bonus if the room's bathroom door didn't have to be forced over the carpet. However, good location and Indian food was served at 20:30 in the adjoining pub. Dunkeld itself is a Highland gem of a village."
